The best, most fulfilling relationships take place when we feel safe enough with one another to be our full and true selves. There are times when everything clicks and our cups are full, but even in those relationships, our imperfections are present and conflict arises. My favorite part about these kinds of relationships is that I know they respect me enough to be honest with me and they truly have my best interest at heart when they take it to me; we have the kind of relationship where can walk next to each other contributing to each other's journey of growth. They care enough to say something when they see something, and when it's done with kindness and grace, I am very grateful for the opportunity to broaden my lens.
Our mission at CAN is to walk alongside each other--coworker, community member, friend, neighbor--and bring out the best in each other. That IS community-building at its core! The best relationships are those in which we are constantly rooting for one another's growth and successes and in which we are receptive to solutions-focused feedback. When done-so from a place of kind and brave vulnerability-- sharing is caring!
What are ways we can develop strong bonds as a community, be accountable to each other, and cultivate growth in one another?
